Owner/Creative Director
James is the Creative Director and leader of the Iva Bella artist team. He is a gifted Master Hair Designer, Makeup Artist, and Stylist. Known for making his clients feel and look amazing, he is a sought-after talent for the everyday woman as well as celebrities, musicians, and beauty industry peers. With artistic vision and impeccable attention to detail, he enjoys working with clients to create styles individualized to their needs. A master of his craft and on the constant quest to push boundaries with innovative techniques, James is involved in all stages of creating your Iva Bella experience. James is a tape in extension specialist.
Melissa
Owner/Production Manager
Melissa is co-owner of Iva Bella Salon and Simply Pure Products. Melissa brings to the team over 10 years of natural product development and management skills along with certifications in soap making and a beautiful inventive mind. Melissa specializes in developing all natural products for Iva Bella Salon, Simply Pure Products, retail, and wholesale clients throughout the DMV. Her attention to detail and management skills are utilized for both companies, but Developing new products for use in house and for other beauty industry companies, Melissa will help lead Simply Pure Products into the future.
Brittany
Master Stylist
Brittany has been a stylist with Iva Bella Salon since September 2016. She has taken many hours of continuing education in not only technical skills such as, cutting, coloring, styling, and product knowledge but soft skills such as time management, client services, social media, and leadership skills.
Brittany has over 17 years of experience behind the chair and she is adored by her clients. Her fresh personality and styling talents ensure clients enjoy a world-class Iva Bella experience. Brittany is an industry leader who embraces the latest techniques and trends. Whatever your hair type, she offers first-class client service and hair care excellence. Sydney
Senior Stylist
Sydney is a Senior Stylist at Iva Bella Salon with over 6 years in the beauty industry. She specializes in color corrections, highlighting, and vivids. Additionally, Sydney has exceptional cutting techniques and excels at styling clients to enhance their individual style and facial features. Her top priority is to fully understand her clients with a thorough consultation and to help achieve their hair goals. She particularly enjoys utilizing babylight blonde techniques to create a naturally stunning and soft appearance so the hair grows out more naturally.

Senior Stylist
Tonya comes to us from a long career in the beauty industry. A 20-year veteran behind the chair, she is an instructor of Cosmetology for Kettle Run High School and leads the apprenticeship program for Iva Bella Salon. Tonya has a keen eye for detail and strives for the best customer service with her clients. When she’s not educating today’s youth in the beauty field, she is at Iva Bella making people more beautiful. Tonya is accepting a limited number of new clients.
Chrissy
Senior Stylist
Chrissy is a beauty industry enthusiast! She’s created looks for clients for over 35 years. Her passion is with color but creating new styles for her clients keeps her technique fresh and her clients coming back for more. Chrissy loves foiling hair and takes pride in the final look. In her downtime, she can be found watching educational videos on new color and cutting techniques. Her passion for doing hair shows in every consultation, and her personality expresses her passion for life!
Vallen
Senior Stylist
Vallen is a senior stylist for Iva Bella Salon. She graduated from Kettle Run high School with her cosmetology license. She's been in the beauty industry for over 5 years and is one to watch! During her years here at Iva Bella, Vallen has honed her skills for cutting and coloring, and is now specializing in curly hair. She's built a fantastic following, her technical skills and ability to communicate with her clients keep her busy behind the chair. She is currently accepting new clients.
Lexi
Stylist
Lexi is a stylist at Iva Bella Salon with over 4 years of experience in cosmetology. She grew up watching her mom do hair and has always loved the thought of being a stylist. Lexi loves specializing in blonding services and low maintenance natural coloring. Her commitment to her craft and her great customer service skills will continue to grow her career path. Stylist
Rose is a ROCKSTAR in the hair industry! She is talented with fresh ideas for color, cuts, and styling, and does amazing men's hair cuts. A graduate from Kettle Run High School Cosmetology Program, she has been a licensed stylist for over 9 years. Rose has a passion for hair; she genuinely cares for the clients and the look they want. Stylist
Olivia is a stylist at Iva Bella Salon with over 3 years of cosmetology experience. She graduated from Kettle Run High School with her license from and has worked in salons ever since. Olivia is devoted to communicating with her clients, creating custom looks, and ensuring they receive fantastic service. Olivia is now building up her book and is looking for new clients. Outside the salon, she enjoys reading, shopping, and anything fashion related. Olivia is very passionate about her craft, and she enjoys helping clients feel beautiful and stylish!
Haylee
Stylist
Haylee, a graduate of the Kettle Run Cosmetology Program, recently obtained her license! She is always eager to meet new clients and make sure everyone is satisfied with their hairstyles. Women's haircuts, basic color services, and styling are among the many things that Haylee enjoys!
Bonnie
Inventory Manager
Bonnie is the Inventory Manager for Iva Bella Salon. She retired from the Federal Government after 37 years and quickly decided she was not ready for full time retirement. She started with Iva Bella in December of 2020 as a member of our front desk crew, but we realized her skills could better be used behind the scenes. Bonnie helps with every aspect of inventory with an emphasis on ordering beauty products to fulfill the needs of the salon and styling team.
Deborah
Reception
Deborah is a member of our front desk team. After completing her bachelor's and master's degrees, she worked as program manager for the Department of The Navy. After over 10 years with the Navy, she decided to resign and stay home to raise her two children. Now that the children are grown, she decided she wanted to re-enter the workforce but stay close to her home in Warrenton, Va. Deb joined our Iva Bella team in 2022. She loves interacting with clients and managing the stylists' schedule to help keep the salon functioning in a fun yet professional manner. Deb is a tremendous help to everyone at the salon and its day-to-day activities.
